Authorised Sybiz Developers Concept Engineering Limited have developed a sales analysis tool for use with Sybiz Vision that can simplify this analysis process.

Sybiz Vision sites with large transaction tables may experience significant "slow downs" when trying to execute certain types of analysis reports for transactions. This is usually simply a result of the sheer number of transactions involved and the performance capabilities of commercial report engines when required to process large amounts of data.

The Vision Data Analysis Utility (VDA) analyses transactions within a specified transaction range and creates "output" tables. The output table has only the relevant transactions and has all links completed so that any subsequent reports run over the output table do not have to look up anything in the main accounting system data tables.

This significantly improves periodic sales analysis by allowing several reports to run over the same output data without having to re-analyse the main data tables.

• General Ledger - Detailed analysis by section and account ranges. A facility is available for the production of totals for each general ledger account for the last 26 accounting periods (assists with trading account analysis between months over set periods, for example 6 month or 12 month profit & loss comparisons with one month per column across the page).
• Sales Analysis - The sales analysis compiler allows sales data to be analysed by salesperson (sales analysis code) group, product group and invoice date range.

• Market - The VDA is targeted at Sybiz Vision sites that analyse their accounting information and need assistance to speed up the process. The VDA is under constant improvement with new facilities being added as required. A range of reports is available in addition to those supplied with the module.
